Rebun Island: spots

Further afield (Hokkaido) · records of our president's own visits

Rebun is a long, narrow island north of Rishiri. Known as the “floating island of flowers”, it is famous for alpine flowers that bloom into early summer. The ferry from Wakkanai Port takes about 1 h 55 min and arrives at Kafuka Port in the southeast. Choose where to go from the photos and notes our president made on site in May 2015 and May 2026.
